Young Scholars Colloquium

CSAMSE Young Scholars Colloquium is a substantial part of CSAMSE conferences every year, usually co-chaired by Professor Fuqiang Zhang (Washington University in St. Louis) and Professor Rachel Chen (University of California, Davis), will take place at the Fifth International Annual Conference of CSAMSE this year.  We cordially invite young scholars (assistant/associate professors and advanced doctoral students) to a colloquium that features panel discussions with leading academics who have extensive research and senior editorial experience, like Professor Stephen Graves, Abraham J. Siegel Professor of Management Science, at MIT and the current Editor-in-Chief of Manufacturing & Services Operations Management and Professor Fangruo Chen at Columbia University, the founding president of CSAMSE, and previous department editors for Management Science and Operations Research and other renown scholars.

The purpose of the colloquium is to bring together young scholars in the field of Management Science and Operations Management to discuss the challenges they face in research and in the process of publishing in top-tier journals. To ensure the quality and the effectiveness of the colloquium, attendees are usually limited to 60 in total.  Pre-registration at the conference website which will be included in the conference registration page is required for the colloquium and seats are assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.
